What variations of Jardini can I get in the US?

Also I have a Gar, will a Jardini be compatible with this species?

i definitely agree. sad to say, there are no reliable variations. there are some slight variations in color but its like buying a box of chocolates, you'll never know what youre gonna get, some are pale, some dark, some brownish or even greenish. then there's your occasional albino which some consider as gold and then there are some light gold colored. in fact, the two i've had were quite different in color, ranging from dark to pale. even albinos are not established in dreeding circles. the point is, you cant go to any lfs and order a variety for jardinis. they only sell "Jardini".

OK, I will definitely agree that there really are no separate "breeds" of jars but I feel they truly have the potential to be selectively bred to form some type of bred strands. At one time you could only get parakeets in green, now look at how many colors they come int. There are variations of jars but it really is like a box of chocolates hahaha. It's not like you can simply order a specific strand like a banjar red for example etc. but you can find a variety of slight variations...
