I bought a used 180 gallon off of Craigslist. The tank was full with no leaks when I went to pick it up. The silicone on the inside has a few bubbles in it and some spots where algae has grown in the silicone. I was planning on resealing the entire tank but had a couple questions.

1) how many tubes will it take to do the entire tank? 72"x24"x25"

2) it is currently in my garage and I wanted to do it out there due to the odor of the silicone in my house. Is this ok since it is getting colder? Or should I just bring it inside to do it?

Never mind on number 2. I just answered it myself. I'm gonna want to leak test it after the reseal. So it's staying in the garage. Lol. But the question still stands. Is it ok to seal it outside since its getting cold? Or will that just add to cure time.

You should be able to reseal the tank with two tubes of silicone. As far as temeperature goes, read the label on the cartridge of silicone. From experience, you are better off doing it in warmer temperatures.
