I have a few questions.
I had a house gecko, and it died for reasons unknown to me, i supplyed it with proper heating, food, substrate, and anything i could think of, sprayed the tank a few times daily, had a water bowl, etc.
I figured I might try again, and I got another one, but I haven't seen it for about 3 days now, I had it in with a green anole and and ltg <- starter herps because it's my first time with herps. the ltg and anole are doing fine, what am I doing wrong.
I thought since it's the winter months, the gecko may be doing something, like burrowing? The otherguys are still very active and eat, they have a steady supply to live crickets, aswell as some anole food, some non living dried bugs etc.
Question #2,
I have a spare 5 gallon tank setup and I was thinking about some sort of amphibian for it, it has a working heaterpad and filter, right now it has 3 otto cats in it that ill just move to my planted tank. Something other than newts, I kept a red belly with two african dwarf frogs for about 3 years before they died.
something like a pacman frog? maybe a tree frog. dunno. I'm open to suggestions, you might just say, pfft a 5 gallon, toss it. but a tank's a tank ^_^
