iam thinking of geting a few albino apple snails from petsmart, they have the healthiest looking ones, but they are only out done in neglect by walmart about tied with petco. local fish shop keeps getting snails with oonly 3/4 to 1/2 a shell.

What should i do to ensure i do not introduce a disease.

the snails look heathy.

QT them like you would any other item going into your system. i would take the snail out of the bag not adding any of the water. i dont think off hand that there is anything transferable between snail and fish.

no problem if you were closer i would just give you a couple.

they are likely not wild caught and doubtful that they would harbor anything. To be on the safe side you could qt them, but they can only really harbor nematodes which are only common in pond-reared wild snails.
