Hello,

My name is Matthew, sorry for my bad English, because I am Quebecois. I registered on your forum, because I like fish. I have had aquariums 55 gallons, 27 gallons and 66 gallons. When I get back the aquarium, I love the idea of plywood aquarium, so I would build a 1000 or 1500 gallons freshwater and 600 gallons saltwater possibly, I already have my list of fish I would put it for freshwater. Your forum is very impressive and some members here have huge fish.

But I have questions:

1: Does plywood aquariums last a long time?
2: For large aquariums, how do you clean the windows and let the water change?
3: For large aquarium, is it possible to two filter or you need a pool filter?

Hey, welcome to the site! You came to the right place. You can always use two filters rather then one. Now I would check the build threads,on how other people Derry there mega tanks up. Before you choose. As for cleaning and water change just do it. I,personally was going to buy 1/8 Plexi to glue to the plywood makeing it water proof and Easy to clean. Other people with more experience will post. Also,like I said browse the threads
