Quetions about new aquisitions

Should i take my plant out of the pots when i buy them?Also,should i remove the rockwool like stuff from the root system and plant up to the rhizome?

Read the planted tank for beginners thread in the stickies. The pot and rockwool should both be removed. As to how to bury the plant, that depends on what type it is.
