What I do is get a 5 to 7 gallon bucket like the ones that come with your salt water and I drilled small holes in the lower half of the bucket (about 75 to 100 holes) and on the bottom. Then I pour in some gravel. For a quick rinse using a garedn hose, I fill the gravel just below the drilled portion. If you want to have any debris rinsed off, then you just fill the bucket with gravel higher than the holes drilled then fill the bucket with water. That way the water will fill to the top of the bucket and any light debris will flow out over the top.

That is a really good idea. Doesn't work in MN in the winter though. Wind chill two days ago was -32 deg F! I will try it in the spring so my acorns don't freeze off.

lol i heard that i use to live in Prior Lake

good idea tho for smaller size gravel put a screen in the bucket to cove the holes

Yeah, it's frickin freezing in here Mr. Bigglesworth.

Ok, how about filling a bathtub then just dunk the bucket a few times, worth a shot instead of having your blood turn to slush. Just a thought. Actually here in north east texas it got down to 25 last night.

I have a 5 gallon bucket with 3 small holes on the bottom for gravel cleaning. What I do is use a hose with a squeeze high pressure nossle on it and I cram it in the bucket to the bottom of the gravel until the water over flows then I keep mixing the gravel around with the hose raising and lowering the hight, adjusting the water pressure as I go to make sure i don't blow the gravel out of the top. After a couple of minutes almost all of the debris has flown over the top of the bucket. The bottom holes are for drainage. And I'm sure you can pull it off in a bathtub or a shower.

I don't recommend for sand.

LOL that sounds fun!!! Not..... No hose in Utah after it freezez... but nothing like that.... LOL
