Quick colouring question?

Ok guys,
Sorry for being the newbie again. But i've been wondering at what sort of size should i start to see a change in colour in my mono's. At the moment all being under the 2inch mark, their still very dull in colour. More silvery/grey.

It depends, my wild caught monos showed color even at that size. But farm raised or stressed fish will take a while longer to show colors, and some longer than others.

my mono is about 3 inches and just starting to show colour hes wild caught or so said to be. probably varies from fish to fish so id say 3-6 inches
