Quick drain and refill ok?

I have a 150g running that I want to paint the back and bottom black. Would it be safe for the fish to drain the tank, get gravel out etc. Then refill the tank with no problem in regards to having a cycled tank?

The only filtration is an fx5 but there is also only 1 fish in the tank.

As long as ur media and gravel dont dry up you shouldnt have a problem.

I am taking the gravel completely out.

Just do not touch the filter and you should be ok.
