Is it suppose to be self-priming?
-If above is "No" then : When I manually prime it, should it begin filtering immediately?
My 400 "chugs" for about 10minutes after I manually prime it before it will start flowing regularly. This is the first time I have used this filter I got it used with a aquarium setup years ago. I have tried fiddeling with the impellar to see if it was not sitting properly ~ no results. It does begin to filter eventually as I have said but I was just wondering if perhaps I could fix it :/
What is the "switch" on top of the filter (sticks through the top cover and moves up and down)?
