Hello all,
My name is Ed, I've had aquariums for about 15 years. I started small with a 5gal and now have 1) 5gal (feeders), 4) 30gals(1. A pair of Cichlid Convict) ( 2. A pair of Anglefish) (3. a pair of Parrot fish) (4. Hospital tank with some plattys, 3 female and 1 Male for cycling, and thier fry make for good treats for the convicts and parrots) and (1 55gal, 2 Oscars ((will be moving to the 125 asap)) and a black Banded Leporinus.) (1 125gal. still in the box) I plan on setting up the 125 with in the next 2-3 months. I just finished paying off the 125 (lay-a way LFS) and hope to have it set up by April.
I know that sounds like a long time but with 4 kids (2 in college) I have a thin budget. I will be using a DIY stand, but Im not set of filters, heaters or lighting. Any advice/suggestions would be welcomed. Thank you to all those that work to keep MFK up and running. I am really enjoying the forums, pics and all the info. Chat with you later, Ed.

welcome to MFK ED.. glad you joined and nice to meet you... it is good to take your time setting up the 125gal because now that you have us to quide you and all the info available you can make up your mind and decide what you truly want to do with the 125gal.. so i believe taking it slow and having patience can mean a great advantage in the long run... if you have any questions just ask and meantime sit back relax and learn and enjoy.. and teach... :D
