is it bad to leave bits of raw tilapia in a tank?

I Feed my baby peacocks bits of tilapia and i just added white sand so what should i do if theey miss a piece? i cant see them at all lol so is it ok if they sit in the tank for a couple of days before a water change?

I would remove as much as possible...could cause an amonia spike.

+1, also if you leave it in too long it'll start to decay and little white worms (planaria) will infest your tank.

I wouldn't worry if you have plenty of filter
