This is a gator gar is it not?
My buddy is at the shop in another city 3hrs away from home LOL....
about 3/4 of an inch thick, and 6" long
Looks like a gator to me but Its labled as a spotted........

they're gators.
 
Is this at the big al's in Calgary? If so then they are not gator gars. I have seen them and know the breeder.

Looks like he may have a broken back! This can be confirmed if he is not able to move his anal fin (i.e tail)

In this picture, he does look a bit deformed.

I would advise: DO NOT BUY!!!
 
He can still swim.
 
younglin, Send me a pm.... I need to know for sure asap. My buddy is hitting all the stores there and its either them or from the other stop..... I never go to calgary ;) and Im paying for gas lol

I think that these are pictures of two different fish. The first gar is looks excellent and appears to be in good health; the second gar, not so much.
