a true gar for once in the gar forum
anyone able to help with ID, it's at a LFS listed as a spotted gar but thought i'd check on here as something is telling me it isn't a spotted..

indeed a Florida/spotted gar...some places my insist on one or the other, but Florida/spotted is as accurate as one can be without locality information (assuming one doesn't have molecular data either ) --

i take it at 6" they're still too small to go in with a 14" gator in my main tank and will need to go in the growout tank til they're a better size?
