Quick Pleco Question

Is there any tankmates or any type of fish that would prey on Pelco?

Cause i noticed just about every tank has one and nothing attacks them or anything

1. piranhas
2. big arowanas
3. big bichirs
4. flowerhorns
5. african cichlids
6. bigger aggressive plecos (L114)
7. big catfish
8. etc.

plecos might have armor, but still treat it as any other fish

Regular large CA/SA Cichlids may do it also. I had one that would kill anything in it's tank including plecos.

Very true, especially if the cichlids are spawning or rearing young.

I caught our chocolate cichlid with one of the bristle noses that I had just brought home,in his mouth .... though he probably thought it was feeding time.

I couldn't get the pleco out, so I crossed my fingers and let nature take its course.

Thanks everyone for the info now i can watch waht i purchase to go with my Gold Pleco
