Quick Pseudodoras Niger question

How long could i keep one of these in a 60 gallon for? Could i keep it with other growout fish? just curious. The guy at the store sells them around 4 inches.

It depends on the tank's footpriny, but I would say around a year or 18 months, 2 years max.

Just about anything - they're extremely non-aggressive. I keep mine in a community with fancy goldfish, plecos, glass cats, rainbows, tetras, and an angel.

So would you just recommend just non-aggresive tankmates or fish that are the same size? lol I guess what i'm asking is what you would not mix them with? Thanks for the info and being patient with me.

i think a 60 gallon would be out grown in a year if fed properly . my opinion from experience .

Just keep in mind their eventual size when you are looking for a tank to transfer it to when the time comes. I've read several members who've had them grow as fast as rtc. Plan for the worst and hope for the best!
