quick q for anyone that has python no spill clean n fill

what is the diameter of the tubing? trying to buy some vinyl tubing that is the same diameter as the python product. thanks.

i dont have one but from what i have seen it appears to be a 1/2" hose diameter

Just measured, its 5/8 outside dia.

Don't be like me and buy the cheap collapseable tubing it will collapse when vacuming

nah just tweaking the python design, i don't like the fact that it wastes water to suction water out, but tinkering w/an idea or two, given that i have a lawn nearby that could use tank water

I agree! I hate to waste water. None of my old water goes down the drain, ever. I hook up the lawn hose to the python venturi adapter and get that started out side on a dry lawn patch. You need a lot of hose but I think it's worth it and the grass loves it!

I situate my tanks to be next to windows so I can use the python to drain right out the window... Much faster than using the venturi on the sink because of the height of the sink.

I bought some more tubing at home depot because I was really just too cheap to buy another gravel tube...
