would a baby motoro (disk is like this long ____________________________________________, then the tail) like sand or gravel more? the sand though, is all purpose tube sand, so im sure silica is in it. is this still okay? but which would she prefer?

thanks for your time,
HPizzle.

Boils down to personal preference. I say shallow sand beds are good and easy to clean. Use target playbox sand, or some black sand (like tahitian, or quarts)... just make sure it's sugar fine sand.

need some more answers people, hoping to pick her up in a bit.

sand will be fine... just keep the sand bed shallow....

motoro, it should be fine, the silica thing is a myth IMO. i used pool filter sand with no problems and it says silica.
sweet. thanks.
so, the little pebbles wont bother her?

as long as they are smooth you will have no problem

yeah, sorry didnt catch your first post.

theyre smooth and the sands only a couple inches deep. if she starts to get irritated ill move her into a bare bottom tank. the only reason i didnt do that off the bat, is cause its gonna be a pain in the ass....
