i have them in a 29 gallon tank the pleco just lays under the driftwood all day so basically the JD is the only thing filling the space, i was wondering what else i could add to the tank?

I wouldnt add much more then that since the plecos ganna grow big

Both those fish will be too big for your tank. Well, some plecos will do fine in a 29g, but your typical "common" pleco can grow almost two feet, sometimes bigger. I'd definitely rethink your stock or consider upgrading.

I am not sure about what Pleco that you have, but it may be too much for the 29 all by itself. You maybe able to house a mate to your JD in the tank if you remove the Pleco, but at 29G you will probably need to do 25% water changes daily and at MINIMUM 5X filtration (150G/H) to keep a healthy environment for them! Good luck!

k thanks guys, will look to upgrade soon, screaminleeman that avatar pic is sweet id love to have some fish like that ill probably get a 90 gallon or something later

If you do weekly 25% wc and take the pleco out and go with a rhino plec or something you could probally put in a few rainbows or giant danios for movement. I have kept a JD with a rhino pleco that maxs out at 10 inches and three giant danios together for 3 years without promblems but I did my 25%wc weekly and religiously.
