Quick question...90g sump panels

So im finally redoing my sump. I broke one of the glass panels i made bc i made it too long and tried to fix it. Either way...can i redo the panel with two smaller pieces either stacked with a glass piece with silicone sealing the two panels together or side by side? or will the integrity of the panel be jeopardized...leading to the panel ultimately coming apart....meaning i should just buy a new piece? Just wondering if i can use what i have here, but if it cant work then ill just buy a new piece bc i refuse to do this a third time.

I did a similar thing to repair a glass 135 that had a cracked back. I put in another piece of glass that went about half way across and covered the cracked portion, sealed it and added a center brace to prevent bowing. worked great until an earthquake popped a seal on the other side of the tank and then someone stole it while it was dry docked awaiting further repairs
