just to tired/dumb to figure it out, but i gotta know for diggin tomorw

i have a 10ft x 10ft liner
building a square pond, i want it 1ft deep all around. if the sides were equil how long would the sides be?

or would a circle be better use of a liner that size?

thanks so much

Normally, you allow 1' overlap around the edge, 1' down the side so that's 4' gone.. about a 6' sq pond if you cut the edges sq.

Now 1' deep is to hot for fish in our summers and to cold in our winters.

But could be a nice vacation spot for them off-season ;). (probably get some from from time to time too).

Agreed, 1 foot depth will have huge temp swings.
