Hey. I've been trying to cycle my 46g for 2 months and finally today the ammonia came up as 0!!!!!!! :D. This is pretty much the first tank I have cycled, do I need to let the bb colonize anymore at this point or would it be okay to add a fish like right now? Cuz I can wait a few days to make sure I have enough bb.

You're fishless cycling? Keep adding ammonia every day until your ammonia and nitrite levels read 0 after 24 hours of adding ammonia, and you have a nitrate reading. Then do a 90 percent water change before adding fish.

I take it back...im not sure if the 46g is cycled. I did the ammonia test and it came up as 0 and I got exicted and claimed it was cycled lol. I actually did all the tests now except ph. Ammonia is still 0, nitrite is 1ppm and nitrate is 5ppm. I know the tank isnt fully cycled but its getting there. How much longer will this take? And would it be okay if I put my Clownknive in there today? Thanks.

With Nitrate readings you've primed it at least
I'd add a fish now and discontinue ammonia treatments
monitor ammonia and nitrate and hold off that first WC till Nitrates are >30ppm
