Quick question about RBP-Noob :)

Hi there, Im new and i have a fish tank that was my brothers and he moved out so i inherited it. It has just one red belly in it and he is 5 inches in size. The tank isn't that large. 12x16x36 so 30 gallons?. I was wondering if i would be able to put any other ones in there. either 2 new very small ones. Or i have 2 that are available to me that are 3" approximately. I plan to buy a larger tank (atleast double the size) and only wish to house 3. Will i be able to take the 2 that have lived together and transport them into my tank? will they kill eachother?. Please dont mind me if i sound like a rookie as I am 17 and dont understand the complexities of these pirahnas. I just want to know if it will work. So please if anyone is on asap to let me know i would greatly appreciate it. I feel bad for the guy he must be lonely!

Wait till you get the bigger tank to add more, 3 piranhas in a 30 is to much.

Agreed, wait until you upgrade before buying the new ones.

Try to get piranhas that are either similiar size, or grow them out if you have the space so they are some what simmiliar.

I have a 8 inch rb that Im waiting for my other p's to get to at least 6 inches before adding him.
