i'l be going with a buddy of mine as soon as she's ready and i'm going to pick up a fish for the 90.eventually i will be getting a couple but i'm only going to get one now
out of these which should i get first

texas
green terror
maby a veija or nic(open to suggestions)
 
What type of setup are your lookin to have? i'm assuming semi to agressive fish? Out of the above mentioned fish, i would personally choose to get the Vieja sp. last as they can be pretty aggressssssive, so adding other tank mates can be tricky. Beste bet would be the green terror as texas can be pretty hostile as well. It all depends on availability. You might not be able to find the viejas as easily as the gt and so on.

Have you considered any other options? Paratheraps motaguense is an awesome lookin fish, as well as Amphilophus festae. Arowanna's are really fun too! OR YOU COULD GET A STINGRAY.. nothing gets a better reaction from people...
 
well I would go with any type of Vieja over the other 2 but unless you are going to a nice LFS they probably won't have any. Next I would go with the GT. Arrowana and stringray will become way to large for that tank. Festae is pushing it I'm not sure on the footprint of a 90 but festae get over a foot in length so if the tank is 18"deep you should be fine
 
Green Terror or Texas eitehr ro, i love my green terrors colors so far his peronatily is awessome @ like 3 inches
 
r you going to an LFS? I highly doubt you will be able to pick up a female redt terror. If you can let me know what store this is please. And if you can and your footprint is large enough then definitely get one
 
the footprint is 48x18x25

yea i'm goin to a LFS,they usually carry the good stuff cause the manager of the fishroom is a member in our local aquarium club so whatever people are looking for he usually gets
 
To the moron who advised getting a stingray, don't consider it at all. The 90 gallon would not be able to handle the stingrays. The female red terror is pretty much the way to go. The females have awesome colors when they are full grown and very nice compared to a male.
