quick question for anyone who breeds jag cichlids

They should spawn every two three months.

in normal conditions how often do they spawn?

It is healthy to spawn BIG cichlids once a month.....Then give another month off to condition them with proper food and rest......It is possible to spawn them twice a month.......To this, you must remove the pair from the eggs right after hatching.......OR, just wait untill the eggs hatch and siphon the fry right away into a growout.......The pair should think they know their spawn is gone within a week or two and start breeding again........

that could be why because i usually remove them. but they have spawned 4 times in like a month and a half. seriously their last babies are not even a half inch yet and they just had like 450 more. i just didnt know if it was normal for them to spawn like convicts haha
