quick question regarding pool filter sand

I filled a 5gal bucket half full and rinsed it till all the water was clear and when i could move the sand and it would fall back to the bottom and i did that till my tank was full now i can grab a hand full of sand out of my tank bring it to the top and it falls to the bottom no prob all.
PFS is pretty clean to begin with but I always rinse to get any dust out. It doesn't take to much time.
Always rinse sand and gravel. Just being in the bag getting grinded against each other makes a helluva lot of dust. PFS is one of the most clean substrates out there straight out the bag but it will have some dust just because it is in the bag. Mine looked clean until I filled the tank with water and it got cloudy quick.
Yeah I rinsed mine, but it honestly doesn't take too long. Compared to other substrate it has very little dust
