Okay so i am going to a LFS and was wondering if it is safe to buy a fish for my tank that has not been cleaned for 6days... Im sopposed to clean it tomorrow but do u think i could wait a day or 2 to clean the tank so i can let the new fish calm down and get used to the tank???

What are the parameters? Nitrates, Nitrites, Ammonia. Is the tank cycled. Lots of variables.

You should be fine depending on your current tank situation. If its different from your normal cleaning schedule simply keep the feedings light or even skip a day or two of feeding.

I know many fish owners who do not feed on the first or second day of introducing a new fish into the tank. What are you getting?

yea you should be fine as long as your parameters are decent, i always like to introduce fish a day after i do my water changes from quarantine tanks and what not
