Just a stock question.
75 Gallon
Vieja Argentea
Rotkiel Sev.
Black belt.

Would it work? I'm getting a shipment of four Argenteas, 4 Rotkiels, and I'm thinking about getting a Black belt. The 3 other sevs and 3 other argenteas already have homes lines up...

But anyways, would this stocking theme work?

It would not work IMO. A Blackbelt and an Argentea would both need a 75 for themselves.

Ok, Cool.

What would you suggest housing with the Vieja in the 75G? Would it be possibly for one Rotkiel and one GT to go in with him? I might just get a Blackbelt as there adult coloring is awesome!

I tried a GT in a 125 with an Argentea, and it did not work. I would not put any other cichlids in a 75 with an Argentea. The only thing I would try to add would be a pleco.

I do agree that adult Blackbelts look awsome!

NO, and how bout a pair of vieja's?

I dont think a 75G is big enough for a male+female Argentea.

I'm just see what my optinions are with this tank, I'm having a hard time deciding what to put in it, so many fish! I mighr be putting a Bleekeri and some smaller africans in it as this way I could have one large good looking fish and a few smaller colourfull fish to fill up the rest of the tank.

Why would a 75 gallon be big enough for a blackbelt, argenta, and severum, but not two argenta? I'm not really understanding your logic.

The bleekeri idea might work, but the large bleekeri might be too big and aggressive for the smaller Africans (by which I am assuming you mean mbuna).

those guys would massacre each other

Unless you do massive overcrowding (not possible in a 75) you're not going to be keeping much with either a black-belt or a argentea. Keeping 2-3 large aggressive fish together is much harder than keeping 6-8 large aggressive fish together in any sized tank, just due to the spread out aggression.
