When treating for ick I understand you are supposed to treat for around 14 days and remove the carbon. Is the carbon supposed to be removed for 14 whole days?

i think the carbon is supposed to be removed thruoghout the treatment as carbon removes the meds from the water

lol ye no problem good luck and remember if u got catfish or any other scaleless fish only use half dosage. as ther sensitive to meds.
Carbon is optional for use however if you are simply using a heat and salt combination, then you need not remove the carbon because carbon does not remove the salt. Salt does not remove itself by evaporation either. Only water changes can.
