I have a maxi jet 900 from marineland. I have it set up as a 230 gph power head...and I'm not that impressed. Would it be too much to switch over to a circulation pump that does 1000gph? It's a 150g tank with no ornaments. Thoughts appreciated.
I'm only turning the tank over about 5 times an hour with filtration, this will be just current for the water. I plan on adding more filtration once I have the bacteria seated in it. I'll try out the big circulation pump. Thanks
