How are those nics handling those brusiers you have them with?

Well when i first put them in there, the big midas gave the male a very hard time as you can see by the missing scales, but i could tell it was only to establish her continuing dominance. I think she was just threatened by his size though. I'm guessing the nic is about 11" and the midas around 13-14".darth pike;3914570; said:

Right now everything seems back to normal in the tank, with the exception of the nics seem to be more settled in than i would like. They look like they are preparing to spawn, and what's bad about that is i'm not getting my new tank untill friday, and then i'll still have to cycle it. Hoping i had more time hehe. And i do not wanna see that complete set of teeth biting on to my other fish.
And thanks, yes they are some very colorful good looking fish, with an extremely interisting behaviour to watch. They seem to not know theire own size (about 5") and they challenge ANYTHING coming to theire TOP of the tank.
