Quick tankmate question

Getting 2x 4'' IT's tommorow(Was supposed to come today)

Anyways Was wondering what would be good tankmates for them?
I was thinking of getting some 3'' CL's to go with them.

What else would do good with them that grows slow and wont bother them?

The tank theyre going in is a growout 30''x12''x22''

I have ctenopomas in with my smaller dats and they do very well together. I also have spotted gars, longnose gar, albino senegal bichir, and slow growing catfish like juruense.

Nandus Nandus is a slow growing Perch with even BIGGER mouths. Have pretty much the same temperament as Dat's also.

I'd love to get my hands on some channa, but I'm in the states.

Nandus are awesome looking and dont get too big. If only I could find some.

I'd get something like a gar or polypterus, but I'm just not so sure about it..
I've wanted a Juruense and i know were to get them so thats another option.

I really like the Nandus Nandus though.
Anyone know of were I could find one?
I'll check with some vendors...

A few vendors on here sell them from time to time.
Just check the buy/sell section.
Or one of your local shops could probably order you one...

i say instead of spending money on a gar, just go to your local lake or river and catch one.
