I like them. I enjoy community tanks. Every now and then I get the urge to set one up but after a while I realize that the fish don't get big enough and I break them back down. This video is giving me that urge again.

Thanks man, you should do it, they are awesome if each niche is used.

The black skirt and diamond tetra in the video are the oldest fish I own, I've had them for 8 years, got them full grown from someone that donated all their fish to the pet store.

Nice comm tanks.. i do the same thing.. set one up and lose interest fairly quick... though since we set a tank up in our daughters room its been a dumping grounds for any neat lil' oddballs i find at the lfs. she enjoys the activity and color alot, and its nice haveing a tank that only get a few pellets and flakes for the most part and not a handfull of food each feeding lol.

btw the reticulated hillstream loaches are the best alage eaters ive ever owned! my one little guy keeps out 37 clean with the help of a few nerite snails.

Thanks, community tanks are my favorite, always something to look at. I do like the reticulated hill stream loaches, and am torn between them or banded Burmese algea eating loaches.
