How often should an eheim's 229 professional filter media be changed? I just got one in a trade it was used for a year .....It was washed before it came here and wanted to know if i should change the media or use the current one and have it make a biofilter first and then change it in stages. Id like to know this before i put my leicharti in there to grow them....
