quick question for al you 'fugers, does it make sense to have a fuge and a wet/dry? i have the potential for a fuge, and i have an extra wet/dry. this is for a 55 reef with a couple small fish and misc crabs and snails. for coral i have mushrooms and some colony polyps as well as some zoos.:feedback:

:feedback:

whats a fuge sorry new to salt

I would not use it on your set-up. If you had a large tank with large fish such as groupers or sharks i would recommend both but on a 55 with a light stcok of fish a Fuge is all you really need.

a refugium is a seperate tank from the main tank but shares the water. it de-nitrafies the water and provides a place for organisms to grow that feed corals. i dont think there is anything else, some one can add to the list if necessary.

i only did caulerpa in mine and used the miracle mud before my reef crashed my tank was perfect you dont need the wet dry put it to use on another tank

a 20 will be good right?
