Quiest and most powerful airpump

Mine is for like a 60 gallon tank. It's some rena model I think. It was like $30 and the guy o bought it from said he "modified it" and I have another one of the exact same pumps and this one makes my 55's surface move fast! What size tank do you have?

You can use a strong powerhead that has an air pump output. Those are really strong.

I have a Top Fin Air-4000. It is pretty quiet but I do have it on a carpet so I don't know how much noise it would make on a hard surface. It's is pretty powerful, there is a knob to adjust the amount of air it pumps out. Although it does get a tad louder when it is turned up all the way, so I don't know if that's a problem because you are stressing the importance it being quiet.

I hate bubbles in my tank but for tanks that need a buble wall or a stone. I just put the pump on a sqaure of carpet. it doesnt rattle off the floor that way.
