Bought this recently and decided not to set up a sump for my 90 gallon FW tank. Too Lazy :redface:

It's brand new, never used. Comes with original box, instructions, and sand media. It's rated for up to a 300 gallon tank.

I forgot to upload it to photo.net in the first post, and it seems to be popping in & out from the shrinkpic.com link...

"Sorry about that" (just saw Get Smart over the weekend :D),

how does this work exactly? I think I might take it. I just attach a air tube to it?

I really don't know too much about setting this up. I thought I was buying a fluidized bed filter that I could just place under my tank & run with a powerhead & a return line, like the "Merlin".

Here's a description that I found for this unit;

This filter is designed to be placed into an existing sump or trickle filter. Water is pumped into its base (½" barb inlet) to fluidize the media and the outflow spills over the top.
  • Sump location makes installation simple.
  • Easy access.
  • Media included.
We recommend the MD3 Mag Drive pump. With 2½ lbs of media, it has 137 sq.ft. of surface area. One-year warranty. Made in USA.

So, if you already have a sump this should be an easy biological filtration upgrade.

Well, It looks like I may have a use for this afterall.

Couldn't pass up on a 75 Gallon All Glass Aquarium setup; Modern Series Oak Stand & Canopy, AGA 75 tank w/overflow, Glass tops, Mega-3 Wet/dry, Mag drive 7 & plumbing for $360. Only 3 years new. Taking the plunge into Saltwater...:D

QSA-1 is no longer for sale.
