I've had my peacock eel for about 2 months now, and it seems like she goes against everything I've read about them. She is completely diurnal, and has been hand feeding for about a week now. When I come in the room, she swims out of her log and swims to the front of the tank, and when the lights are on in the tank, she is extremely active. Is there something I should be worried about, or did I just get a quirky fish?

My aurals (striped peacocks) are the same. Very active during the day and at night. They are still to shy to take worms from my hand but quickly slurp 'em once they hit the water.
