I posted my first thread here regarding a mis-identified "Texas Red" from Pet smart.

I had to remove the fish from my cichlid community tank because it was becoming quite aggresive and started to kill its tankmates.

After posting my intitial pics asking for help to ID this fish, it was possible that it was a barred midas, possibly a midevil, or who knows what.

Here are pics from the first post to the latest transformation - the transformation from "calico" to its current state literally was less than 36 hours; I am just amazed at how fast this guys has changed.

Any better now? I see them in preview before I submit the post; anyine else having problems seeing phase 3? Maybe I'll have to relood them to photobucket.

ah I was wrong it was phase 2! 3 was showing up fine.

Nice transformation...
Looks like he also has a nice growth spurt going on... He does look aggressive too
