Quoting Pics??

I've noticed there seems to be a big thing on here of people quoting a huge string of pics and/or a really long post just to write a one-line reply like "your fish is beautiful" or "thats really cool".

Is that really necessary? Am I the only one that gets pissed off when you have to scroll through the same set of pictures over and over again?

It is annoying. I always delete the links when I can.

oh I think I know what your talking about now,like if they quote a heavy pic post but instead of it just saying the attachment link it re-shows you all the pics again.Ok sorry David R,I wont have my little kitty beat you up now.

i understand exactly what you mean... and i hate that i have done that... most of the times i catch myself but on occasion i still quote with all the pics.. i will do better from now on..

lol, it certainly wasn't aimed at anyone in particular Liz!! Other forums I browse [and moderate] actually have rules against it, but it would be hard to enforce here I guess.

I make sure to remove the pics from the quote if I quote anyone. Everyone should.

yeah it sucks but sometimes it just happens i try to remove it when ever i can but i have an occasional slip

Irks me too, I'm glad a s I thought no one else minded. I like clean threads without clutter. Thanks mods for trying to keep it tidy.
