r flowerhorns easy to breed?

All you need is a male and a female and somehow they start to pair up...tho its the process of pairing up that takes the time. You will notice that their breeding mode goes on when you see both male and females with stripes on their body.

i have gotta problem breding FH,
my female is ready to breed but the male is not,
the breeding tube of the female has been out for about 5 days and for what i know the fish spawn in 2 days after the breeding tube appears,
will this have any negative effect on my female FH?
