The Grotto
Well, I just bought three adult beanis a month ago. i had them in a 3-way divider when i got them. 2 weeks ago i upgraded them into a larger tank without dividers. and bloat set in:(they never even messed with eachother. my male stayed hidden, i noticed in smaller female first. so i started with w/c and meds. she passed two days ago. He passed last nite:( so i have one female left at 6" so far she seems fine with no signs of bloat but since the others are gone im gonna keep a close eye on her. This is very depressing, between the Haits and Beani's I am wore out!

sometimes it feels like nothing will go right, but all the best with your lone female, shes a stunner :)

I'm so sorry for your lost. Incredible how bloat finds its way easy w/ Beanis. I hope your female is able to ride it out fine.

Thank you everyone. I have my male Hait in the tank next to my Beani tank and the female Beani has been hanging out next to the glass checking him out all day. I was thinking about moving him in there with a divider so shes not alone. but im hesitant cause i dont wanna stress them any more than necessary.

good luck with the survivor mayne
