Easily, hands down, my favorite fish...succumbed to weeks of fighting and recovering then fighting some more a bacterial infection, possibly hexamita. This Clown Loach has been my pride and a center piece in my tank for quite some time.
I am sad to lose him.

Freeze him in a zip lock you can have him for years. My dad did this with one of his fish. He couldn't let go its still in his damn freezer lol

Bummer.

How old was it?
8-9years old.
No other fish sick and the real sad part was the rest of his school stayed by him constantly...

Just shows we have no say when it is the time. Perfect water, exceptional diet and huge tank....

I thought about that...but I think it wouldn't ever allow me to get over the loss and maybe cause me to lose confidence as a fish keeper....I thought for a flash that I should sell everything and start over...
We move on.
