R.I.P Champ,

Champ was my first fish, I got him still in the learning stages, which we are all still learning no matter how much you know. But I took the best care of my wolf. never got sick, he was very heppy. he was growing very fast. i got him when he was still in the 3'' length. he died today at 8.5 inches, and was loading up on another growth spurt i could tell, eating more, swimming more. he even made friends with the baracuda and pelco. he didnt brother them, they didnt brother him

but today I didn't check the tank and turn the light on, i would have seen him then, but i didn;t, i woke up late and had to run out the door. i think he jumped out right before i left :( i coul d have saved himol

:( i am truely sad, i left a very small opening where the old heater was since i switched to one that goes deep into the tank the set it and forget it, thats where he jumped out :( im a bad fish owner i have failed :(

champ- 12/11/10- 8.5 inches. champ lived a good life but it was cut short due to being stupid and having a stupid owner. today we remeber him being a evil, pure badass fish, if chuck norris was a fish he would have been champ. champ is in fish god hands now. im sorry buddy :(

what do.
buy another wolf or something different:(

mala wolf . had great coloring, he was growing fast and was such a beast. but after punking the cuda a couple time they became friends, it was weird.

not sure what to get, i can get a 6.7 mala right now, a 6 inch aro, or a 18 inch gar lol.

but thought maybe ordering a red wolf, maybe something different not sure

i loved my wolf.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that!!! Its a tough lose for you...
I had the same thing happen to me 2-3 years ago on Christmas eve.
I keep my christmas tree near my fish. I woke up at about five thrity and I see this big fish wrapped in my tree like garlin..... it turned about to be my 24'' fire eel which I had since 2004 and raised him. It was 2008 when I saw him in the tree... I was devousted....... My parents bought me new fire eel, but he also managed to escape within 8 months this time around Easter.

Aww, Im sorry. it's hard when you loose a fish you have had for a long time.

Yea, it sucks. Since he was my first fish, he stuck with me thick in thin, put on good feeding shows for everyone, when the heater broke he was alright just hung in there when the temp dropped until another one was installed. Then like a retard he just jumps out lol

So now I'm empty, need something to replace him with

That sucks..... loosing that "special" fish can be similar to loosing a furry or feathered friend (I lost my Senegal parrot earlier this year).
I think I would be out of sorts if I lost my Rose Queen for sure.
Keep your head up!!

Burt :)
