in a house
We went to petsmart one lucky day and came across an 18 year old girl who was giving away her dog. She told us that her ex bf got it for her, and she no longer wanted it. All-n-all we brought it home and he was an amazing dog. We toulk him to the vet yesterday because we noticed he had a rather large hump in his back like he was crouched over. The doctor said he was born with a birt defect and that we would never have of noticed untill he started to grow. Well he said that his hips were ( spelling) deteriorating or w/e.. and that he only had about 1 week left to live before he would be in horrible pain.. He said there was an operation that would cost 3,000$ but he would need one every 6 months. So my dad decide to put him to sleep. The whole family has ben depressed and home for 2 days now. I miss him so much and I dident relize how much I loved him untill he was gone, I know that it was the only thing, and the right thing to do but I feel so heartbroken. I loved this dog so much. I will post pics of this amazing pup later on in the day. Thank you all for letting me rant, I just need to talk to someone about this.

What a joy the new year has brought us....

I am very sorry and saddened by your loss. I've been there, and it still hurts after a few years. If you ever want to talk about it, I'm glad to. Jude

Here are the only 2 Picks "I" have. I will get the other 4 from my mom.

I cant stop crying, I went to school today and had to leave. Its just so hard to walk around the house and not have both my dogs right beside me.

cute dog, and i hate dogs.. that means something.. sorry for your loss..

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope it comforts you to know that he had a much happier life with your family than he would have had if that 18 y/o unappreciative girl still had him.

Thank you, We spoiled him rotten let him sit on the couch with us and lay in my bed with me. I remember the first week we got him, he was walking on the stones next to my pond and fell in:( . I miss him so much... my god..

if u believe in reincarnation he may be your next fish.... glass half full.

haha thats a good story about the pond..sry agian.:tropicalf

I believe when you die, you will be with the ones you loved and those who loved you. But I just want to believe it was for the best, and hes happy where ever he is.

I feel like I just lost a big part of my life, and I dont know how to deal with it.

I was the same way when I lost one of my longtime pets. My sister told me to go right out and get another shelter pet. I told her I couldn't replace the loss. She said; "It's not a replacement. You're giving a home to another animal that deserves one and it will help you grieve the recent loss just by being there with you".
My sister is alot wiser than I ever credited her to be earler.

I dont have the heart to get another pet, I dont have the heart to loose another pet or anything else.
