yea, what suprised me the most was that for the year or so I had them, the biggest only jumped outa the tank once ( he was about 20" at the time, and i had the tank half full, and was putting a peice of drift wood in there and it spooked him and jumped.) Other than that they didnt fight or anything. One of the best fish i've ever owned.

The other fish I lost were

18" mono pbass
18" royal pleco
2 x 8" oscell pbass
12" channel catfish
2 x 6" monos

and i believe thats all.

i am so sorry Matt.. what happened to these beautiful silvers.. that is so sad:(

Sorry about the bad news Matt; do you want mine? I want him to go to a dedicated MFK member with a large aquarium, 240+. He is about 22 inches now. I got him him 11/22/06 at about 6 inches for $71.99, and he is about a year old. He is a great aro with some DE on the left eye. I only have a 125 gallon tank though and my spouse will not let me go larger. I live in Mobile, Alabama. He eats shrimp and scallops but mostly shrimp now. He has bumped the glass lid a few times now and I don't want him to bust it. Here are his pics from last month.
