Came home today to find a mostly crispy Fire Eel sitting on my Fish room floor.
My own damn fualt. I was sick of getting him out of my HOB twice a day so i got another cannister and moved the HOB to one of my 55s. I thought I jimmy rigged a cover good enough to keep this from happening. Damn it!
He was still slightly wet so i got him in water now praying for a miricle, but I know I am just kidding myself.

SO mad right now!
 
sorry for your loss...i lost my fire eel this past weekend...he was about 6" and i had to put him in my 240g with my african cichlids for a short time but ended up it was to long...i only found half of him :(
 
Sorry for your loss. I worry about this every morning when I wake up. They are such smart fish, to bad this gets them into trouble
