Hello. my name is matthew from scotland u.k. i thought it was about time i finally got round to posting something.

sadly today my beloved oscar 'THE BEAST' died. due to a series of unfortunate events he got injured and never recovered. for the last week he's been in my quarentine tank but today he gave up. he was evil, greedy and a bully, and sometimes i feared putting my hand in the tank. but at the end of the day he was mine.

i've been keeping fish for the best part of 18 years. i have three tanks running at the moment. two 300 litres and a 1000 litre. (sorry dont do gallons). ive kept everything form arowanas to gold fish, from neons to bichirs. and everything in between.

my first 300 has my two turtles, a severum and a clown tetra, quite plain and simple.

the second 300 is my 'odd ball' tank. it has some cracking fish from my moray and fire eel's to my ghost knife and raphael catfish. nothing much happens during the day.... but at night. amazing.

the 1000l is for my pacu's and where 'THE BEAST' lived. there is a ten year old synodonitis waterloti, a jack dempsey and a sailfin plec.

thank you for your time and i would just like to finish by saying, spare a thought for all the big fish you've loved and lost over the years. it doest get any easier and my old friend will be sorely missed.

Two 80 gallons and one 265 gallon I converted them for you. :D

I'm sorry for your loss. R.I.P
