Air McNair. The first time I really appreciated his on-field ability was when I watched him play the Raiders in the playoffs during the '02 season. They lost the conference championship but I remember how gutsy his performance was.

He was a great football player. I hope it doesn't turn out to be the latter and diminsish a great career.

New info: Steve McNair was shot multiple times, the woman he was with had a single gunshot wound to the head. Sounds like a murder-suicide. His girlfriend probably killed him and herself, unless he has the fastest trigger finger in Tennessee. Very sad.

they said in a news statement that this woman he was found with had gotten a dui just 2 days prior to this incident in a vehicle registered to her and mcnair. i have a feeling she had underlying issues that will surface as this story is further probed. very sad
