Does R/O water increase in PH if left overnight in tank? Hi guys just asked the question because since iv bean using my R/O unit to fill up my mixing tank in back room! I could"nt work out wy my ph was always around 8PH in tank when using a mix of 70% R/O and 30% Tap water for minerals/buffer
it"s running at PH6 from unit as got it dripping through unit far fast!
Its at PH7.6 -7.8 From Tap
But always after 80gal tank is full and bean running for day or 2 with heater and powerhead" the water is around PH 8 ??
Checked by filling a glass with R/O Water and was PH6 then after 24hours was ph 7 and then another 24hours it was at ph 7.6
